%X Transgenic vegetable is vegetable in which target genes were transformed using DNA recombinant technique.Vegetable variety with special characters can be bred,and we can make full use of interested genes by transgenic technique,which makes vegetable breeding more purpuseful.The paper introduces the current advances and prospect of research of transgenic vegetable fram the aspects induding resisting to virus,pests,　herbicides,　delaying maturity and improving quality.
