%X Five species of the genus <em>Pilea</em>(Urticaceae), <em>P.longzhouensis, P.lushuiensis, P.longruiensis, P.minima</em> and <em>P.yuanbaoshanica</em>, are described as new from southern China. The diagnostic differences between them and their allies are given respectively.
