%X A new species of <em>Elatostema</em>(Urticaceae), namely <em>Elatostema kimhyense</em> Y.G.Wei &amp; V.T.Do, was described and illustrated. <em>E.kimhyense</em> was found out in forests on limestone hills at 350-1 200 m asl.. The new species is related to <em>E.vietnamense</em> Q.Lin &amp; L.D.Duan, but differs from the latter by carnose stems, penninerved leaves, abaxial leaf surface hirtellous, hirtellous bracts and bracteoles.
