%X Eight species of the genus <em>Elatostema</em>(Urticaceae), <em>E.oliganthum, E.longanense, E.crassipenicillum, E.luochengense, E.strigosicaule, E.triseriato-bracteatum, E.basicapitatum</em> and <em>E.xanthocarpum</em>, are described as new from Guangxi autonomous region. The diagnostic differences between them and their allies are given respectively.
