%X The study on the stem secondary xylem of <em>Symplocos paniculata</em>,reveals the wood belongs to diffuse-porous wood.The ray is hetergneous ray Ⅱ.The vassel element&rsquo;s perforation plate are scalariforms perforation and there are also some fiber tracheids.
