Ching(Polypodiaceae)are studied by means of light microcope (LM);scanning electron microscope (SEM) and transmission electron microscope (TEM). The results as follow: the mature spores of Lepisorus thunbergianus (Kaulf.) Ching are bilateral and monolete and show an undulate ornamentation. The sporoderm consists of endospore;exospore and perispore from the inside to the outside. The exospore is derived from the tapetal materials. It is composed of two layers;i.e. the outer layer and inner layer of exospore. The undulate ornamentation in the surface of outer layer of exospore forms the outline of ornamentation. The perispore is very thin and adhere closely to the exospore surface. It is formed by two layers of lamellae. Many glubules appear on the surface of spore in the stage of exspore formation. In the present paper the structure;origin and development of the spore wall are discussed. The results will provide basic information for the palynology and phylogeny of ferns.}, url = {https://bbr.nefu.edu.cn/CN/abstract/article_1158.shtml}, doi = {10.7525/j.issn.1673-5102.2006.05.008} }
